Orange line Metro train - Full Information

Orange line Metro train is a new or latest service for Lahore city .

We know that Lahore is the biggest city of Punjab so it was required to solve the transportation problems of citizens of biggest city . 

So on 12th of Octuber , 2015 the prime minister NAWAZ SHARIF and chinese government signed a project of metro for Lahore .

Orange line metro train service is also a part of CHINA PAKISTAN ECONOMIC CORRIDOR  .... CPEC

There are about 27 stations of this project and the length of track is also about 27.7 Kilometers .

About 17 trains were brought for this project .

The route was ready on jully , 2018 but due to safety purpose the trail runs were held for 2 years to ensure the strength of track and bridge . 

On 17 , November, 2020 the orange line train was opened for public .
